PACKET PICK-UP:

Packet pickup will be held at Kootenai County Fairgrounds (4056 N. Government Way, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83815) from 2pm-7pm on Friday, October 11th. If you are unable to attend packet pick-up another runner may pick up your packet.

We understand that last minute issues come up.  For those runners that absolutely must pick-up their packet on race morning, we will offer a very limited race morning pick-up at the start line. We strongly encourage runners to pick up their packet the day before (Saturday) since we will have very limited staff to help with check-in race morning. If you must pick-up your race packet on race morning, plan ahead and arrive early, we will not be responsible for you missing your start time if you arrive last minute and are still waiting in line.

PARKING:

EVENT PARKING
NO PARKING will be available at the start line of the race course. There are two primary options for getting to the start / finish area.

1. Drop off Zone: There is a drop off zone at which participants or spectators may be dropped off near the start line at the corner of E Honeysuckle Ave & Chalet Rd. From the drop off zone, it is a 0.2 mile walk to the start / finish area at Honeysuckle Beach.

2. Off-site Parking and Shuttle Bus: There are 3 parking lots available about 1 mile west of the start line along Honeysuckle Ave. A shuttle bus (50person capacity) will be making continual loops every 15minutes between 6:30am - 2:25pm along Honeysuckle Ave and the start / finish line. Participants and spectators may board the shuttle bus for free at any time during its operation. Priority boarding will be given to runners with a bib number before the race. Spectators should be prepared to wait for a few buses or may want to walk to the start before the race. RUNNERS! If you all wait to board the shuttle 20minutes before your start, you will miss your start.  Plan to arrive plenty early so you don’t miss your start! We highly encourage runners to utilize the drop off zone option if possible to avoid overcrowding on the shuttle bus.

Parking 2 : Church of Jesus Christ (477 E Honeysuckle Ave) - SHUTTLE BUS STOP

AWARDS

There will be awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall for male and female in each distance. There will also be first place age group awards for each distance. Award ceremony times will be announced as we get closer to race weekend.

GEAR CHECK

Gear check will open at 6:30am race day. We will have an athlete only gear check corral in which athletes will drop their bag at a pre-labeled area based on their bib number. Volunteers will staff the entry and exit of the gear check area to make sure bags match the bib number of each runner entering and exiting. Bib numbers will be required to enter and exit the gear check corral. For safety purposes volunteers may ask to look inside of gear bags.

FINISH AREA

We will have bottled water, bottled sports drink, and post race meal and snack options for all finishers. Food for purchase will be available from our food vendors and sponsors. Race merchandise will also be available near the finish.

AID STATIONS

Water, GU Roctane sports drink, gummy bears, and GU gels will be provided at each aid station. Water will be provided at the starting line. First aid will be located at all Aid Stations on each course, and at the Finish Line.

  • Aid Stations for the marathon will begin at mile 3, and be spaced every 2.5-3 miles thereafter (distances between Aid Stations may deviate slightly due to road shoulder width along the course). The last on-course Aid Station will be at mile 25.
  • The 1/2-marathon course will have Aid Stations every 3 miles.
  • The 1/4-Marathon course will have an aid station at mile 1.5 and mile 5.5.
